2009:

July 11th to September 8th $2,150 per night.

September 8th until November 21st $1,650 per night.

November 28th to December 18th $1,650 per night.

December 18th, 2009 to January 4th, 2010 over Christmas and New Years a 10 night minimum applies at $3,500 per night.

2010:

January 4th to February 11th $2,150 per night. March 17th to April 11th $2,550 per night.

All rates are plus State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax 8.25% and General Excise Tax 4.166%.

Just a few of the inclusive complimentary benefits provided are Personal Concierge Service, discount rates for golf green fees at Wailea and Makena golf courses (with notice), parking for multiple cars, high speed wireless internet access, local phone calls, mid-week housekeeping service (if renting for 7 nights or longer), in-villa safe, tropical bath treats, and personalized in-villa greeting orientation.

Unlike at many nearby hotels there are no extra "Resort Fees" charged!

The State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax will increase to 9.25% for any occupancy starting on or after July 1, 2010.

There is a 5 night minimum payment term. You may arrive and depart on any day of the week subject to availability.

Maximum Occupancy

10 guests total including children. Also rent the adjacent Wailea Sunset Bungalow, and as many as 14 persons may enjoy this exceptional location.

Deposit : $2,500 plus credit card guarantee is requested as a house security damage deposit, plus a separate incidentals deposit for guest requested special services

Initial Payment : 50% of rate & taxes

Final Payment : 60 days prior to arrival

Disclosure

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE: Construction of a new very large private home is now taking place on a lot located immediately adjacent and on the left (south) side of the Wailea Sunset Estate. It may not be completed until sometime in 2010. The construction site is clearly visible and construction activity is clearly audible from the Wailea Sunset Estate. Audible noise is possible at any time without advance warning to us or to occupants of the Wailea Sunset Estate. Again, construction noise and activity may be present and visible and audible during your visit. Our current rates reflect a discount and all due consideration for any possible inconvenience. This is a good opportunity to enjoy a very special one-acre ocean front luxury home at a reasonable cost.

The grass lawns surrounding the property and all neighboring properties are trimmed with a motorized mower each Saturday. The mower may be audible and the schedule may not be altered. On Saturday morning until mid afternoon please plan activities which will not be disturbed by the lawn care crew needing full access to the grass lawns.

A small cottage known as the Wailea Sunset Bungalow is immediately adjacent to the Wailea Sunset Estate. The two dwellings are in close proximity to one another and we cannot say they are exclusively private from each other. A modest amount of landscaping provides some separation. Guests of the Wailea Bungalow are not invited to use the grounds, pool, or amenities of the Estate home.

The master bedroom and two other main villa upstairs bedrooms are separated by an open-air patio called the moonlight terrace. The distance from the master bedroom to the others is approx. 30 feet. Baby monitors may be effective in overcoming the separation between bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is in a separate building near the carport on the (mountain) side of the property. It is also approx. 30 feet from the main villa. Access is via a covered open-air walkway.

The swimming pool is not fenced, although it does have a retracting cover which guests are required to close for safety and security when away from the property and at night.

Entrance to the ocean immediately in front of the Estate is decorated mostly with small pebbles. It may be most comfortable to use foot protection when entering from the property. Over towards the Polo Beach area an off-shore undertow has been reported by various swimmers from time to time. Always swim with a buddy or when others are nearby. Guests agree to use caution and common sense, and to always enter the ocean and to enjoy all sports and activities at their own risk.
